2026 wasp nest season is looking like it may be a crazy one with queen wasps flying around everywhere we go in Stroud!
The wasp nest season for ACD Pest Control typically begins to heat up in June, although queen wasps begin searching for suitable nest locations between March and May.
2025 saw us treating wasp nests throughout Gloucestershire, from local properties and businesses in Minchinhampton, Dursley and Stonehouse, all the way over to areas such as Cheltenham, Bibury, Slimbridge and Moreton-in Marsh!
The wasp nest award went to a property in Cirencester with a whopping 14 wasp nests treated over the course of the season, from several outbuildings to the main house itself, wasps were EVERYWHERE!!
Last year we also invested in a new super-duper reach extendable pole to treat wasp nests located above the standard equipment reach, allowing us to now successfully treat wasp nests up to a height of 40 foot.
