An initial site survey in Stonehouse, Stroud today to investigate an internal rat infestation.
A thorough survey of the property identified a hole in the ground leading into the foundations of the property, an easy access point for rats and right next to where the noise disturbance has been heard inside.
Rats had been heard scrabbling through the cavity walls and up into the loft, where rat droppings could be found.
A dual approach has now been initiated to deal with the problem, to eradicate the rat infestation and proof the hole to prevent re-infestations in the future.
