We are frequently contacted by customers throughout Gloucestershire and Wiltshire to deal with rat infestations in chicken coops. This is a common problem due to the food source constantly available.

This particular property in Painswick had a severe rat infestation, with multiple rats running around the coop throughout the time we were present. We have now installed machines in the coop which will control the rat population whilst being completely safe for the chickens.

Many customers come to us initially with concerns about the risk to livestock and pets when controlling rat infestations.

A key part of professional pest control is risk assessing the environment before commencing any treatment, to ensure livestock and pets are protected. Prior to starting any treatment we complete a site survey, identifying any risks and taking these into account when determining the best method of control.

Treatments are explained fully before they begin and we have a member of the team on hand via our messaging system, Service M8, to answer any questions throughout the treatment period.

We understand that people are often anxious when they have a pest problem and we aim to go that extra mile to provide reassurance, we have often surprised people by responding to queries at 11pm and beyond!!
