The final stage of rat proofing and prevention completed in Dursley today.
After reports of rats being heard in the cavity walls we started proofing various areas to prevent rats accessing the house.
A drain survey was also completed to check for defects in the sewer and storm water system. Two one-way valves were subsequently fitted to stop rats exiting the pipework and into the property.
The proofing and prevention work undertaken avoided the need to exterminate the rats as they have now been retained in the sewer system and out of the house.
